As Auditor General, he has brought a no-nonsense approach to more than 3,500 audits each year, focusing on risk, exposing waste, and holding public entities accountable. From school districts to state agencies, Tim is committed to stopping fraud and abuse before it costs Pennsylvanians another cent.

Protecting Taxpayers & the Economy

Every dollar matters. Tim understands that behind every budget decision are real families, workers, and small businesses. He has worked to ensure that public funds are spent wisely and effectively, so resources can support the priorities that matter most: lower taxes, better jobs, stronger schools, and a more affordable cost of living. Transparency & Financial Literacy

Tim believes good government starts with honest information and practical education. As Auditor General, he has pushed for greater transparency in financial reporting and stronger accountability at every level. Through his “Be Money Smart” initiative, he is helping students across Pennsylvania learn the basics of personal finance, including saving, budgeting, and managing credit. Tim knows that transparency and education are key to protecting taxpayers for the long term.
